Baby Romaine is picked at a younger stage of growing for smaller, tighter heads. This also results in a lighter color lettuce. These heads are still packed with the Romaine crunch that you're used to but in a smaller size. The leaves are more tender but have a great mild, flavor. Keep in the refrigerator to maintain freshness. We suggest keeping in a plastic bag or produce bag, keeping the lettuce away from moisture. Moisture on the leaves will hasten decay.
