Juicy, clean, vibrant, and beautifully expressive, this coffee was grown in the high-altitude microclimates of the Oddoo Shakisso subregion in Guji, Ethiopia. Crafted from unique local landraces and JARC varieties nurtured by 500 dedicated smallholder farmers, this lot is fully washed at the Guji Hadeso washing station. By honoring generations of traditional, pesticide-free farming and meticulous manual hand-sorting, we've preserved a coffee that is a vivid testament to its historic birthplace.
With a vibrant, light body and a balanced acidity, this cup bursts with remarkably clean, layered flavors. Think bright white peach, delicious light berry notes, and a refreshing, jasmine tea-like finish. It's a specialty offering that celebrates meticulous high-altitude craftsmanship, tradition, and the unmistakable spirit of Ethiopian specialty coffee in every sip.

Raker Roasting & Trading Company (Raker!), formerly Moonraker Coffee Roasters, was born from a shared love of exceptional coffee. In 2020, three friends from Philadelphia (Eddie Quinn, Liam Woods, and Dan Beebie) set out to build a roasting company that focused on building relationships at origin that helped make great coffee both approachable & sustainable. From humble roots and a DIY tenacity, Raker graduated from pickup trucks, storage lockers, and basements to a full-fledged roastery focused on farms with regenerative approaches to their cultivation in the coffee belt. Our Director of Coffee, Chris Woods, roasts daily from our location in Kensington at 2100 E Willard St, Phila, PA +34.
