At Ms. Ophine’s they began making Shea Butter Cream because they wanted to use all natural products they could trust. Their son, who was just a year old at the time, had some pretty dry skin. It seemed counterintuitive to use products that contained alcohol, and it didn’t feel right to use things that had ingredients they couldn’t pronounce. So Kristen started using shea butter and gradually added and experimented until she found a formula that worked really well. She named it after her great grandmother, who was a caregiver and a proper lady; a mother and a provider.Ms. Ophine’s Shea Butter Cream uses yellow African shea butter blended with coconut, jojoba, and avocado oils. They make every batch at home with love and use only the best ingredients for ourselves, our children, and our customers.
